Default Shovelhead...cool or not?

Do you see an old Shovelhead and think that's nostalgic, or do you think oooh, AMF days, yuck?&nbsp\\;Thinking of getting my old '77 FLH Custom back, dude needs money. I know what everyone else thinks doesn't matter, just wondering.

I like the nostalgia. Question. Are there newer parts available so you can go through those and make them more reliable? As reliable as an evo?

When I had mine, I spent more time working on it than riding it. But it was fun to work on. Some new parts are good, some are poor design.

Shovelheads are way cool.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Some of the best looking Harleys I have seen have been old shovels.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I would own one if I knew how to work on them.

All Harleys are cool. They are whatever you make them IMO.

Shovelheads are waaaay cool, they have their own sound, if you know what to listen for you'll know if there's one in crowd of bikes passing you by!

Nothing made today comes close to sounding like an old stroked shovelhead nothing.

Troubleheads are way slick. They oil themselves from the inside out!

A buddy of mine told me that if they stop leaking to cease riding and install more oil immediately?
