A freind of mine just had a front tire replaced on is Honda Rune.Some of you may think that taking your HD in for a tire replacement is costly,right!
Well his front tire only lasted 5000miles.The tire&nbsp\\;was $225 plus $275 labor!

 

Honda tires are tied to the price of rice on the commodities market. Rice goes up, rice burner tires go up.

Yes,$225 for the tire and the dealer charged $275 labor.
He was told the rear tire replacement would be around $800 total!

 

And to think that I was bitching about a $260 (total) bill to replace my rear tire...

 

The local Kawasaki/Yamaha dealer will order any tire you want, will price match with any internet dealer, and mounts for free......yes, even non-Kawi/Yamaha, which includes HDs.

 

That is insane for one tire change.&nbsp\\; I had a place do both tires for $400.00 on my 04 Yamaha a year ago.&nbsp\\; I know it is comparing apples to oranges but this is my first HD and I have not had to replace tires yet.&nbsp\\; I just can't imagine EVER paying $1300.00&nbsp\\;for two motorcycle tires and labor.&nbsp\\; Has anyone in the Houston area priced HD tires from Motorcycles Unlimited on FM 1960?.&nbsp\\; Just curious if their HD tire prices are as good as their import.

Dealers no doubt get them for less than I pay, so they much charge a PREMIUM to install them.&nbsp\\; LoL...&nbsp\\;
