The $152 plus $44 labor for the 200mm Dunlop on my Train is sounding pretty sweet to me about now.

All motorcycle dealers labor rates are too high, it doesn't matter the brand of the bike. That is a ridiculous amount for a rear tire and labor for sure though. The last time I needed tires for my bike I ordered the tires from J&amp\\;P Cycles. Think it was about $105.00 for the front and $125.00 for the rear. A local&nbsp\\;indy shop charged me about&nbsp\\;$75.00 to mount, balance, and install both of them if my memory serves me correctly.&nbsp\\;

My riding buddy rides a 07 Kawasucki Nomad. He just turned 19000 miles on it. He has replaced the rear tire twice, and the front one once. I have 19000 on my 07 Ultra, replaced the rear tire at 15000. $185. He is so tight he squeaks when he walks, so he is very unhappy.

Theres a lot of indy shops out there that will mount and balance a tire for around $20. Some will also give you a deal if you buy the tire from them. Glad I know how to turn my own wrenches.

Gails is a good dealership, and I usually make a run up there whenever I need to get something from HD.

I replace my own.&nbsp\\; It just is not a difficult job.&nbsp\\; I do them in less time the a dealer quotes the hour rate.&nbsp\\; Not only does it amve money It feels good not to have some one else do it.&nbsp\\; Save the trip to the dealer.&nbsp\\; I'm 30 miles from a dealer.

Nearest dealer to me is about 90 miles away, including dreaded 'city traffic'.&nbsp\\; [:-]
