I asked myself the same question when I was looking at a Fat Bob as my first Harley. Yeah the price tag is easier to swallow but long term the Street Glide is more bike and a better buy.

I had a fat boy that was chopped and I have a ultra that is chooped into a SG. \\; Neither has any suspension to speak of. \\; Hmmmm. \\; I liked em boh but the Ultra is easier on me.

Totally different bikes. I had an ElectraGlide Standard b4 the SG came out. EG an even better buy, especially if you ride 2up, it has the best passenger seat in motorcycling. I believe the SG is the EG Standard with more chrome, but less lights and a token pillion to look "cooler". Many more $$$ but they sell well. \\;

Don't forget you get tunes with the SG
