I have to suggest again, strip the paint first then sandblast. One or two applications of aircraft stripper will take you close to bare metal, sandblast the nooks and crannies, prime and wetsand and you'll be good to go with your final paint.

i agree with oldgeezer i started to blast my tins and it was alot more than i thought so i stripped them then blasted and it work great and id suggest taking everyones adice about the mess your in for i have a cabinet in the shed and that stuff is everywhere in there

I have a 5hp and 60 gal tank and it works the compresser very hard and sand does get everywhere. You also have to be very careful or you will OVER DO and take off too much of whatever you are doing. My advise.....Choose another way of doing it.......hdman
