If Amsoil is so good, why isn't it sold at retail stores?

I saw at Salvo and it is a lot more expensive than Mobile One. \\; An oil that is actually certified. \\;

What do you mean buy certified?
What do you mean buy certified?
API certifies motor oil if it meets certain standards of quality and had the vicosity and performance levels. \\; Amsoil doesn't make the grade. \\; But people will give you a bunch of BS stories why it doesn't make it. \\; But most of them are selling the stuff so why believe them? \\; I think that is why the whole pyramid scheme exists. \\; Anytime someone trys to debunk the snake oil you have 50 people chiming in on how great the stuff is. \\; (Of course they are all selling it)

Let me correct myself only some of Amsoil is api certified. As with Mobil 1 also not all of their oil is Api certified. Being that the Phosphorus levels in the oils that are 100% synthetic are to low to meet Api certification.
