Just learning to ride and need lots of help
My husband and I just bought a Street Bob. \\; The last part to put my sissy bar on will arrive and a day or two. \\; I am now riding by holding on to hubby really tight, which has its rewards, but how do I learn to sit back against my sissy bar and just relax and enjoy the ride without hanging on?

If the forum would cooperate, I could be more helpful. First welcome to the HDF and how long has your hubby been riding?

Bigger bikes are more comfortable to ride passenger on, like an Ultra Classic. A Bob being smaller, will be less comfy because of the smaller seat, but you can upgrade the pillon pad and that will make a big difference too and help you feel more secure.

Im sure some of the guys will chime in and tell you what mods they made to make their wives/GFs feel more comfortable and secure on the back of their rides.

Well, first of all, being a Street Bob that comes with a standard solo seat, I hope you aren't just sitting on the bare fender. That's gotta hurt.

Yeah, but not everyone wants to do that, or at least not right off the bat, so give her a break. It's great that she wants to ride with her guy.

fair enough... then the next best way to get comfortable is put miles on the bike. the more you 2 go 2up, the more comfortable you will get with time. hold on tight and as time goes on ou will build a mutual trust and comfort level
