RE: Just learning to ride and need lots of help
I am a school counselor and I go back to work next week. \\; Hubby works fulltime and is in college also. \\; Time may be a factor but we are trying.

But yes, some classes depending on location can fill fast. \\; I think I had to wait six weeks to take my course.

My wife lasted about 6 months on the back of my Heritage before wanting her own bike. \\; She said she was thinking most of me because she knew I'd rather ride solo. \\; Not true, \\; just easier.

Once you get the sissy bar installed, you will have no problems learning to lean on it and not hold on. I went for one ride with my hubby on our old (79) Honda and told him I would not be back on it until it had a sissy bar. He bought one right away and it was wonderful. It is much easier going around turns as a passenger with a sissy bar, because it make you lean with the bike. When we upgraded to the Sporty, it already had a sissy bar on it which was good. Now he has an Ultra and that is great to be on as a passenger. Lots of support. Now I don't ride behind him much, since the Sporty is now mine, but it is still nice to ride with him and get to look around.

Sometimes \\;you can get into a class right away by going there and getting on a standby list. \\; If \\;people who registered don't show up on time, they start signing up folks from the standby list. \\; I made the decision to take the course on a Monday after a long weekend sittin on hubby's skinny *** pillion and was sittin in class on Thursday night.
