RE: Anyone ride in their cowboy boots?
I finally wore out the snake skin boots I had which were probably 25 years old and were Laredos and the other pair I have which are Durangos, are beat up but still shabbily chic.

I used to ride in my Ariats, but had too many problems with the laces coming undone. Will ride once in a while in my other pull ons that have a grip type sole.

Golfblues I love those men's HD boots which is what made me go hunting a ladies' version.

GG, thanks. yours are cool to. Reminds me of an old Texes bootmakers song written by Jerry Jeff Walker. Here's the link as it's to long to copy to \\;the broken forum.

I travel to El Paso pretty regularly. They make Tony Lama, Cowtown, Justin, Luchese and a few others right there. You can find some great deals at their outlet stores. A few years ago I walked into the Luchese outlet and found that they were selling some of their Elephant hide boots for $129 a pair because the were marked as the wrong size. I found 7 pairs that fit and bought them all. That ought to keep me well heeled for a few years. It was just good timing that I was in town that day. I own more than 2 dozen pairs of cowboy boots. I don't wear anything else and I always have them resoled with rubber.
