Cool. \\;\\\\\\; Thanks for all the info. guys. \\;\\\\\\; I just bought of pair of the HD western boots mostly because they have a zipper down the side and \\;rubber soles. If the soles need it though, I'll have some rubber added.

Lisa, don't have an answer for you since I haven't worn cowboy boots since I bought the "steel horse". \\; But how are you feeling? \\; And your daughter? \\; Are you both doing better? \\; Get well soon!

GG, I've been wearing HD Pecos boots for over a year. A little stiff in the beginning but they are nice now. I did put in a better insole. The bottoms are rubber &\\; do not slip.
