Left foot, right foot, leave it in 1st gear, finger or two on front brake. I'm ready to move in a hurry if needed.

Another vote for left foot down, right on brake, and in first ready to go.
The only time the right sees the deck is when I'm on some real screwed up asphalt, or it's time to take a break and get off.
I refuse to get bitched by a cager.

both down and up at the same time for me, leaving it in first at all times, unless you know it's going to be a long wait, then maybe toe it into neutral. just don't forget being in neutral, it's never good to take off in neutral, especially with that impatient cager right behind you

Left foot down, right foot down, stay in first gear, watch your *** in the rear view mirror. Neutral is for warming up in the driveway.
+1. Ready to go at all times. Some states don't consider it a full stop if you don't put both feet down. Don't ask me why. I stop angled, ready to go even if I had to jam into a car in the next lane. Don't want to get azzended.

If clutch is hard to hold you can install an EZ Clutch, about $50 installed I think. Put one on my wife's bike and she loves it.

Left foot down, right foot down, stay in gear for the idiot that plans to rear end me, then both feet up at the same time when I go.

BOTH feet down and BOTH feet up at the same time. Otherwise, there will be no balance. Putting down one foot at a time will cause the bike to want to fall over towards that particular foot.

I never put down both feet until the bike comes to a complete stop.

Same here. I tried just putting my left foot down, but found it more natural with both feet firmly planted. I can get both feet up just as fast as one when taking off.

Left foot down right foot on the brake bike in first gear
I suggest you guys that do, quit putting the bike in neutral
It is not safe in the event you need to move quickly
Also everyone should learn to take off with only the left foot on the ground and the right foot on the brake. This method is the safest way to take off from a dead stop heading up hill
