Done it 15 yrs ago when i first started riding, dont wont to do it again. Glad you and the bike are ok.

 

Well now that it's out of the way you do't have to wonder if and when it's gonna happen. It's no big thing.

 

Im a full card carrying member. I joined up about 15 yrs ago. I used to drink like Cooter Brown, rode around blasted 90% of the time for yrs and never once fell over, I cant count the # of times I fell off/over the 1st year I stopped drinking but it was a lot.

 

Yaa, I did all my lay downs on dirt bikes(20 years ago)&nbsp\\;and I hope that counts.&nbsp\\; I've been riding street bikes for 34 years and have as yet never laid one down

 

Ive never crashed on my own but when I was 16 an elderly woman in a cage pulled out right in front of me at a stop sign. I was on a Honda 50. I missed her but I went down. It was raining. I was going about 45 mph. Bike totaled, I was not seriously hurt just banged up. Ive never had an actual wreck on a Harley but never say never.

 

Ive dropped a Harley a couple of times in my garage when stopping. Once an oil spot and once a newspaper put down to catch oil drops. Foot just went out from under me. No damage. Learned my lesson I hope.
