I have a better story:

A buddy has a Black Roadking, real nice bike. I asked him which dealer he got it from. He says "Actually, she (nodding to his wife) bought it for me on the internet and it is got shipped to the house. I had no idea it was coming. How cool is that?"

I never even asked about the book after that story.

Bones
Does your buddy's wife have a sister?

Although I do spend a great deal of time "ogling" the catalogue, my problem is H-D Tee shirts. I do a lot of travelling and buy one wherever I go.

My wife says if I bring one more T-shirt home I can sleep in the garage with the shirts. So, I now take the tags off, wrinkle it up, and put it into the dirty clothes as soon as I get home from a trip. She hasn't noticed yet, or more likely she has and doesn't want to let me know that she's onto my scam.

Every so often she'll make a comment on the number of shirts I have, and I always ask in reply if she'd rather have me collecting back issues of Hustler magazine.

That's just harsh... true... but harsh. =)

My wife hasn't freaked out about the parts stuff yet... she is upset that I have had my fatboy for six months and I am already talking about what I want as my NEXT Harley. =)

A good friend of mine just moved to Charlotte and the HD dealership is right at his exit... As we were getting off of 85 she just looked at me and said, "NO!" hee hee... She doesn't say that when we drive past Thee Dollhouse... [sm=grinangel.gif]

you know it has been said for alot of years we sleep, eat, breath, dream, live, harleys what is so hard to understand ? we could be out chasing tail but we look at bike catalogs ,magizines anything with bikes what is wrong with that? nothing we just know what we Love.very simply so we love are toys for the price we pay we better.even its five dollars or 60 million we would be the same way find me something else that sounds or smells so good i might change i doubt it.

Personally I just peel the cover off the Playboy magazine and cover the HD parts catalog with it and explain to the wife that it's just the anniversary issue. That's why it's so thick.

my wife bought my bike for me - and ever since all my side job money is mine to keep - her words. "As long as your "Stuff" for the Harley doesn't take money out of the check book" - if she only knew
