I work at a nickel plating and anodize facility and I got all my polished aluminum engine parts nickel plated and they turned out fricking awesome! I loved the look of it. After about a month they looked like they were stainless steel. I thought it was pretty unique. Just for added info... High fos nickel is almost twice as hard as chrome and it has a natural lubricity meaning you never have to polish it when you wash your bike just dry it off and it's shiny as he11. I guess the best part was that I got it done free.
