Welcome! So you decided full-face. That's what I run. Others will soon post about how their 3/4, 1/2, skid lid, or whatever is better, more free.... Back to full-face: you MUST TRY IT ON! If you have to, go to your local Kawayamahondazuki dealer, since they will have a lot in stock. Nolans are good\\; they work for Casey Stoner. But go for fit over brand. (cont'd.)

I have an Arai, which is very good quality (it also fits me), but I recently bought a Scorpion, which is every bit as good as the Arai for about 40% of the cost. If it fits you...consider it. Most brands are pretty good, though I and people I know haven't had much luck with HJC. (cont'd)

With helmets, price-point determines a lot, but still, go for fit even if you have to spend a little more. More $$$ = lighter helmets (it makes a difference after a couple of hours) and better venting. Also budget for extra face shields or a tinted one. Iridium shields will scratch when you hit the first bug. (cont'd.)

You could also go crazy and buy an extra liner while you can, then keep swapping them out to keep them clean. Hope this posts!

Well,
I'm not an expert in helmet technology but&nbsp\\;I do have&nbsp\\;experience with many different helemets so I'll chip my .02 in.

If you're looking for a full face helmet, Shoei, Arai, and Nolan all make quality helmets.
HJC, KBC make less expensive ones so you'll have to decide what your head is worth.
In my humble opinion, these are the things to look for.
1.&nbsp\\;Fit&nbsp\\; If it doesn't fit right it worthless.
2.&nbsp\\;Construction&nbsp\\;How much&nbsp\\;protection do you want?&nbsp\\;Cheaper ain't always better.
3.&nbsp\\;Ventalation&nbsp\\;If you're wearing a full face helmet you're going to want to keep your head cool during the summer.
4.&nbsp\\;Price&nbsp\\;How much is your melon worth?

In general, if you keep away from fancy graphics, you pretty much get what you pay for when buying a helmet.

Again, I'm not an expert&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;so these are just my opinions,

HD's helmets are (if you look at the large tag sewn in the liner) AGV, KBC and sometimes HJC from what I've seen.

I have an Arai FF and a Bell Half. Sizes are different from each Manufacturer. My Arai is a L and my Bell is a S. Why? dunno, just the way it is.

I have a Scorpion Evo 400, Matte black.&nbsp\\; Never fogs, even on hot days down here in the south and has decent air flow.

&nbsp\\;I'll ditto waht everyone else has said about fit.&nbsp\\; Just make SURE it fits properly.&nbsp\\; Put it on and walk around the store for 20 minutes or so.&nbsp\\; You want it to fit snug, but not give you a headache.&nbsp\\; And the foam is going to compress some over time.&nbsp\\; Not all brands are designed the same, so try on several brands and see what fits best.
