Default Wheel cleaner

Can anyone recommend a good wheel cleaner for HD. I was noticing some brake dust stains on the rear wheel of my Deuce yesterday when I was washing it. I tried washing them off with my washmit and it didn't work, they are on good. I know Harley makes a wheel and tire cleaner, but thought I would get some of your recommendations...Thanks!

Woody

I did a search for "wheel cleaner" in the search feature and came up with 130 replies for that criteria.

S100 wheel cleaner works great on my cast wheels.

I can make a recommendation on what NOT to use. I tried Black Magic wheel cleaner and it etched the cast wheel pretty bad. After that mistake, I got the wheels chromed, and now I just use Harley chrome cleaner, Harley Gloss, and elbow grease.

Thanks for all the advise. Hopefully the smears and brake dust deposits have not permanately etched the finish of my rear wheel. Sure would be nice if it was chrome, but I cannot afford to shell out the $900 that HD wants for this wheel.[:@]
