I'm trying to add pictures to MY OWN PHOTO GALLERY and can't remember how to do it.

You were trying to go in from the Photo Gallery listed at the top of the page weren't you? Gotta go from the camera icon under your avatar once you've created a photo gallery. That throws everybody off
