Default ViEDs from Nightrider

Sorry, did a search and could not find anything on these on here but do not know if the sight is working right again yet.
&nbsp\\;
2008 FLTR Road Glide
2007 883L XL Sportster
Both completly stock
&nbsp\\;
I have been going back and forth with Nightrider through email for a while now trying to get a good understanding of his iEDs.
I am just looking to get better sound, optimum performance of stock motor, less heat and good MPG.
Was going to do the FuelMoto stage 1 with the PC111 but after talking with Steve he thinks you really do not need a new A/C? Says the OEM work good enough.
So now I am just think of just adding Rush slip ons to both and one of his iEDs mainly just to cool&nbsp\\;them down some.
Was thinking about the ViED so I would always be able to adjust the AFR if I need to.
&nbsp\\;
Again I am not looking for a performance monster, came off VTX 1800 just want a good riding machine.
&nbsp\\;
Suggestions and experiences???
&nbsp\\;
Thank you
&nbsp\\;

I may be in the minority, but I really wasn't impressed with my XiED.&nbsp\\; Ran them for a couple of week on my 2007 RK: no noticable difference in performance or heat control\\; croaked my fuel economy and left a strong gasoline smell in the garage for an hour after a long ride.&nbsp\\; I pulled them off and they're sitting on the work bench.&nbsp\\; Maybe should have tried the O2 IED instead...

You know, I've read a lot of mixed reviews on the Xied.&nbsp\\; Some say they work, some say they don't.&nbsp\\; This topic has been going in circles for a few month now.&nbsp\\;Both sides claiming they have the before and after numbers to prove their point. []

Amen to that, brother.&nbsp\\; I figured for about $100 what did I have to lose?&nbsp\\; Next step will probably be a Stage 1.

I will let you know about this when&nbsp\\;I get mine.
&nbsp\\;
ncbeast - Anything for the best MPG is to stick with stock. Fuel efficient AFR but HOT. You should read the Xied post. Educational. The Vied is more for the SERT type of usage.
