I am a true chump..
So I read how so many of you have to wait for riding season. It must really stink to high heaven but I understand why you all appreciate it so much when the season finally does arrive.
Why the post?
Because it has been windy as hell and it is supposed to rain all weekend here in the Phoenix area. We have not seen rain whatsoever in the past 140ish past days.
I am DREADING the weekend because I will most likely not be able to make my weekly 2 hour escape on my white pony due to the weather. I guess I could go out in a torrential storm but nah.
So here I sit laughing at all you poor souls who truly have it bad (due to real seasons) and now I am feeling sorry for myself because I may not be able to ride for a few days.
To me, that defines a true CHUMP.
hehehe
Please keep your evil thoughts to a bare minimum.
Truly chumpy,

RE: I am a true chump..
Ah, it's OK route2null0, the rain is supposed to be over with by Sunday morning.
Not that I'll be riding this weekend. My weekends are all pretty much booked up for a while. My riding has all been just to work and back lately.
As for the rest of you, why aren't you riding? I lived in northern PA for a while, and *never* winterized a bike. I think the longest I went without riding was 5 days, and my alternative was to walk to work. [sm=biker.gif]
And it was uphill, both ways.

It is not necessary to kick a man while he's down. You southern folks just remember all this laughing in July.
