Cool trip with some awesome memories for you and your mom. The pic of the route 66 sign on the hiway is the same one Ive got on my cell phone screen. Pretty cool.

One of the best burgers I ever ate.......... Buffalo burger in Oatman. Don't think I ever had one of them before.

All in All, trip for the books.

&nbsp\\;Favorite Route 66 State..... Illinois. Damn, they take the route real serious and have a whole tourist industry built up around it. They really do do a great job of promoting it. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to do a portion of the 66, .........to do the Illinois leg. Would only take a few days, and you'll have a blast.

 

You shoulda let us know you were coming! Coulda pointed you in the direction of some really nice biker bars south of Chicago. We got the best bloody mary's around!
