Being #2 made the only way it would bring any premium is if it was never ridden and put away right after they bought it. That being said, with 20,000 miles it is just a fancy springer.

Look no further than dealer showrooms to get an ideal of how "collectible" the 105 Anniversary models are.There are several dealers in my area who historically NEVER discount current year model bikes and they've been discounting these duracell models for months - and they STILL can't move 'em.

An original police knucklehead is a beautiful motorcycle. I doubt that the original owner bought it knowing that it would be a collectible one day. He or they bought it to ride it. But its still not a collectible to me. I would ride it like I stole it. I have no use for a piece of garage art. You might want a work of art. I want a motorcycle to ride.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; So its not a collectible to me. I am not willing to pay what it is worth either. My dealer has several collectibles in his showroom. Nothing but dust collectors to me. If he rode it I would appreciate it more. Matter of opinion. Some people collect some use.

My dealer has a all orginal police Knuclehead...that is a collectable bike.

I have noticed those 97 and 98 springers bringing a bit more than some other models such as a Heritage Classic. Not lots more, but people do seem to like them. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that if that bike is in fantastic shape, it could bring $11k. That's just my guess...

I almost choked my dealer a few weeks ago because the Anniversary WideGlide I initially wanted is now the same price as the Anniversary SuperGlide I actually bought. I love my scoot, anyway, though. The Super is the&nbsp\\;do-it-all HD platform. Will it be worth anything more than a black '08 SuperGlide in ten years? I seriously doubt it. As the man says ... if it was built to be collectible ... it ain't.

it's a MOTORCYCLE..... if you wish to "invest" consult a stock broker...... You'd do far better, taking the money and putting it in a bank account if profit is what drives you. After the cost of purchase, there&nbsp\\;are taxes, insurance, and maintainance to add to the cost. Value of any "collectable" is subject to finding a buyer. I vote for buying and riding, and wearing motorcycles plum out

ORIGINAL: wideglide95th Appraise it like you would any other bike. If you like it, buy it to ride not to sit in the garage as an investment. The only thing we can buy today that is worth more tomorrow is a tank of gas.
&nbsp\\;
Nice bike wideglide95th.&nbsp\\; I owned #268 of 1998 95th wide glide.&nbsp\\; Enjoyed that bike for years.&nbsp\\; Wish&nbsp\\;I still had it.&nbsp\\; Owned several Harleys before that one but it was my first one bought new.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Was on a waiting list for 2 years to get it.&nbsp\\;

Thanks!!&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I have had it since March of 02.&nbsp\\; I traded a 65 Mustang for it with a friend who bought it new.&nbsp\\; Fun bike to ride and it has been dependable.

As others have said, HD has anniversaries every chance they get on each model.
&nbsp\\;
If the bike appeals to you and the price is good, then buy it.
&nbsp\\;
Below is my 08 Wide Glide, #362 of 2000. Great bike -yes, collectors item -no. It's 6 months old, has a custom paint job and 15,000 miles on it.
&nbsp\\;
I probably couldn't sell it for a decent price if I wanted to......
