Do try the Foothills parkway though.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Its off 129 on the west end of the dragon.

We're going to Gatlinburg thru Robbinsville, Bryson City, Cherokee, &amp\\; the Park.&nbsp\\; Return home thru Townsend, Foothills, 72 to 411, south to Chattanooga.

Sounds like a plan. When you go through the park between Cherokee and Gatlinburg, there is a 360 curve thats real interesting. We don't get much of that kind of thing here in Florida.

You could just miss the skyway and go to cleveland and take 64 to Murphy, Andrews and bryson city, then to cherokee.&nbsp\\; The Nantahala gorge is awfully nice.&nbsp\\; that's a pretty nice ride right there with good roads allthe way.
