Do you still wave?

Do you still wave?
Do you still wave to other riders when you pass them? I always try to... Unless I am shifting or something at the time.
Lately it seems that more and more people are not returning the wave... I get more responses from the Rice Rocket crowd than I do the cruisers lately.
Just seems odd... When I started riding people waved all the time. It was one of the coolest things about riding to me. Now people just seem to ignore it and go on by.
Anyone else noticing this?

RE: Do you still wave?
The way I see it, you only have control over your own actions / reactions. Given that, I always wave no matter what bike they are on. There have been times someone has waved to me and I couldn't return the wave due to what I may have been doing at that time. The way I see it if I wave and don't get a return wave as far as I know they couldn't wave.
It makes me feel good waving to other bikers so I do it. Usually a low hand peace sign.

I agree with that... I just happened to be cruising along this morning and there was a touring bike on the other side of the road... No traffic, no turn, nothing... He more or less ignored me. This is not the only time either... It has happened a couple of times in the past few days... Just weird.
Not like it is a big deal...
Maybe it is the "Commuter Biker" Vs. "The Biker" Know what I mean? I am not a Ride to Live, Live to Ride kinda person... I ride to ride... For me part of the lifestyle is the "bond" between myself and the other two-wheelers out there.

I waive at every bike (no matter what make) I see including scooters. I have not noticed them not waiving back. Maybe you're just to mean looking and they are afraid of you.
