Low index finger or peace sign from me to most. 95% back from the HDs, but here in MN seems like the crotch rocket group is in a different zone. Not much in the way of wave backs from them and I'll have to admit that after awhile of feeling ingnored, I am now finding myself waving less to them too.

I've only just started to nod now. There are too many bikes on the road now to wave - be like swatting flies . I don't nod to the clubbers unless I know them personally or you will not be acknowledged.
When I come across a line of bikes coming my way I just stick my hand out in a wave and leave it there until the last bike goes by. That is as long as I don't have to stop, turn or shift. The cool thing is I get about a 95% return wave rate.
when I talk about the clubbers I mean the 1% ers. They don't wave here unless they are on a charity run.

Haven't had a chance to take the new bike out...but I own a jacked up wrangler, so I am used to waving.

I try to wave, but what I don't understand is some say they won't waive to metrics. How can you tell what kind of bike it is from the front 25 or 30 yards away. I guess my eyes aren't that good.

Low "peace sign" that I leave out there until we pass by each other, always---well, heavy traffic is the one exception for me.

But then I usually get a chance to give a "one-fingered wave" to some idiot cager who isn't paying attention! [:@]

I always wave unless I am shifting, braking, etc. If I can't wave I give a nod.

I always wave. The funny thing is, alot of riders...HD's are not sure about my bike. I mean they start to wave back, but because the bike I ride, HD Superglide T-Sport, they stop in mid wave. As I ride on by and "gas it" I see them turn their heads and look. All other riders wave back reguardless. Strange. They must be RUB's and are not aware of the T-Sport, heck, they only made'm 3 yrs, '01-'03
