Default progressive suspension

Have just purchased a 2005 Low Rider, FXDLI. Want to lower rear and front end. Am one of those short guys, 5'-4".

Am reasonably handy with tools; have down oil changes, changed out sprockets, etc. Am leaning towards the 440 Progressib=ve rear shocks plus installing the Progressive Lowering springs on the front end.

Anyone down this before? Is it a big deal to do these rear and front end changes? Anyone have comments on the 440 Progressive rear spings and the Progressibe front end lowering springs? Will I need to cahnge out side kickstand after the lowering?

Any risk of bottoming out? Ride 10% of time with wife. I am 155 pounds, she is 140.

Any comments, suggestions, etc. will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

PS; warmer weather is close. Like maybe this weekend. Bring it on.

My only concern would be cornering clearence, the lower you go the less you have.

I did it on my dyna and it's pretty straightforward. The rears just bolt right on without any modifications. The front springs take a little more effort but it's not beyond the average do-it-yourselfer. The hardest part is compressing the spring and putting the fork caps back on. It might be helpful to have a buddy provide an extra hand to help hold things when you are putting it back together. I didn't need to change the kickstand and I have not had any problems with bottoming out. Here's a pic of my bike aftered it was lowered:
