Ok, still no windshield for the FBob (waiting for new brackets for windvest)\\; first ever half helmet and oh my goodnes it is loud.&nbsp\\; A little suprised at how loud after 50mph\\; but it is what it is.&nbsp\\;I have agreed to go for a quick ride after work that will include a lot of hwy miles\\; any suggestions for make-shift ear plugs that I could fashion from items typically found in an office?&nbsp\\; Thanks.

 

My son, a drummer, uses toilet paper, very slightly dampened, wadded up. Long run, I buy silicone plugs at Walgreen. Don't remember the brand, but they look like mushroom lights and are blue/green. The purple one's made for air travel work well, too but don't have a cord. Cotton ***** also work in a pinch.

 

How 'bout some good ole fashion toilet paper from the rest room?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Cram it in with the end of a pen or pencil.&nbsp\\;

Hmmmm...a quick ride that will include alot of hwy. miles! Geesh just stop at walmart and but a pair of shooting plugs. It'll take you 5 minutes. Don't put fricking toilet paper in your ears.

 

+1 or go to the medicine section and get some ear plugs. Get the rubber ones, the earplanes are a little harder and are uncomfortable after awhile.

Forgot to mention, I'm sure glad I didn't pay full cost for my Wind Vest, it only helps marginally!

You have to get the tilt angle just right, maybe farther forward than you think. Mine works great.&nbsp\\;
