Default OCC Temporary store closing...

I happen to be looking at a bike near the Palisades Mall in Rockland Co. NY last night &amp\\; stopped there to eat &amp\\; pick up some items at Target. Target is on the top floor &amp\\; we (wife)&nbsp\\; happen to pass by the OCC retail store in the mall. The place was a mess with a big sign that said temporary store closing. There were 4 display bikes on the floor that looked like they weren't cleaned or dusted in 6 months. The Nasa, Yankees, NY Giants &amp\\; one other. They really were not impressive at all. Neither was the dumpy store. Just a bunch of OCC clothes &amp\\; a few helmets &amp\\; novelties. I never thought that store was a good idea either.

I never figured it out...OCC would buy frames, buy engines, buy fenders and gas tanks and bolt it togther.&nbsp\\; Then bolt on a few custom du-dads and custom paint and sell the bike for $150,000.&nbsp\\; I am glad they made money, but it seems like it was a fad that was not going to last.

The fad / novelty has wore off. Saw a bunch of OCC shirts on the clearance rack a few weeks ago........w/ something like 60% off original price.

Their 10 minutes of fame has come &amp\\; gone......

The only bikes I really liked were the ones done by Rick &amp\\; Vinnie not Paul Jr.&nbsp\\;

I haven't watched in awhile but caught an episode one morning from about a year ago.&nbsp\\; Turns out Vinnie left - had enough of the BS, I guess. He and Cody started their own shop V-Force Customs just up the road from the old OCC shop.&nbsp\\; I used to like watching the actual wrenching and fabrication, but it became too much about the 3 *** clowns running around.

I wouldn't buy a bike in a mall.
