Anybody riding out from North Georgia or Western NC?

 

It is about 140 miles north to northwest of Nashville in Sturgis KY.

 

You could always come to Sturgis South or Little Sturgis in Sturgis Mississippi. It's at the end of August and hotter than hell!

 

Last year was our first time for Little Sturgis and we had a good time.&nbsp\\; There is plenty of shade and both free showers (sort of open cubby holes) and the pay showers in a Semitrailer.&nbsp\\; Several vendors and lots of food.&nbsp\\; The party time starts a dark and runs most of the night.&nbsp\\; Usually good music, a bike show, field events and did I say party.&nbsp\\; The group putting on the event provides their own security so no law officers are allowed in the area, but they are posted just outside the fenced area.&nbsp\\; Never saw so many people that needed to put their clothes back on in all my life.&nbsp\\; Yes we will go back this year.&nbsp\\; Sturgis is located half way between Paducah KY abd Evansville IN on highway 60.

 

Shade if you get there a week early. Showers yes, but Mr. Hankie was hanging out in the corner of the mens. Nothing left but a big field if you get there the day it starts.

 

If you have a full set of teeth, they won't let you in. I went one year and did the ride around the inside ring of tents. Here is a Grandpa sitting with his grand son. The old man is sitting there holding a humangous ***** and a sign "Show tit$" Great bonding for the kid.

i was at the 2nd annual. it was small. and insane. i'm going this year just to look for old friends and waste some cash.

 

Oh yeah, the chiggers will eat you alive. Long pants a must.

 

I went last year with some friends.4 of us on bikes and had a support vehicle with a trailer. I had a great time last year and the weather was perfect .goin back again this year . this time we have a group8 bikes goin and we are meeting up with some women from st louis there. Btw we have hotel rooms in henderson ky but the party continues at the pool allnite ..skinny dipping flashing etc there too.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; cant wait.[sm=happybounce.gif]
