Tell them $11,900 and they clean all the rust (bolts, wheels, etc, I only say that because the wheels could be damaged).....anywhere around 12 grand is a hell of a price (maybe too good??? Get the Service Dept. to run the serial number). At the shop we were told by the Regional Rep, that&nbsp\\;HD was discontinuing the&nbsp\\;model&nbsp\\;because it was too close in looks to the Street Glide, plus&nbsp\\;it didn't really add any new sales, it only took some sales away from the other 2 Kings.

 

I called the dealer a few minutes ago and found out that someone put a deposit on the bike sometime after i left this morning.Hence the expression "you snooze you lose".

I did call him to let me know if the deal falls thru.At the same time he told me i'd probably only get between 7-8 in trade for mine.Thats not happening!

Up here in Canada the price of new Harley's has dropped almost 9 grand since 2003 (because of the dollar, not slow sales), a 2003 RK was around 28 grand...a 2008 RK is under 20 grand. My point is, even with the price drop up here, I'd still give you a hell of a lot more than&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;$8,000 on trade for your Fat Boy. Nice looking bike.

 

Your Fatboy would probably bring between 10 and 12 in central Texas. I recently sold my 96 evo FXSTC for $9750. Dealer was offering me less than 6. Very nice looking FB.
