Schott v Fox Creek

I have both.
Schotts=best looking and a variety of different leathers (steer hide , cow hide, horse hide)
Fox creek=a more protective motorcycle jacket. Great value, the best you can get in cowhide leather, and the option adding more protection with force field armor.

Schott is made in the New York City and been around since 1913. I purchase their m/c(Perfecto) leather jacket back in 1970 and still wear it. I also have their Navy Pea Coat. I have no experience with Fox Creek.

That is very true, but it is still a good thread nonetheless. We should probably throw a couple of other US made brands in there to compare them.
What about Vanson Leathers? I am debating on these 3 brands myself; and having a difficult time deciding. I seems as though the quality of all three are equal and A++. I am guessing it is just the fit and some features for them all are slightly different. I wish there was a place I could and give them all a test drive..haha. I wouldn't mind just jumping head first and buying one but its hard to do when spending $300-$600, on something that should last until I am too old(dead) to ride--I want to make sure I made the right decision.

You don't survive as a company that long if you are doing something wrong.

I'm in the UK I just bought a Schott Perfecto just recently. Absolutely beautiful leather and really top-notch construction. Likely to be the last motorcycle jacket I buy (baring accidents).
I suspect that although Fox Creek apparently make excellent products, they are impossible to find in the UK. There are a number of places you can by a Schott though...
