Default help with accomodations in Sturgis

Am planning to go to sturgis this year but don't want to stay right in the thick of things. Is there any good motels available in the outskirts of town or the next small town away.
How far and do you have any names of places I can contact to reserve a place?
I'd appreciate the help.

Well at this late date your best bet would be Rapid City... But I can't help you with who to call... Try this link

If you hadn't made reservations last year for this year, then your chances are slim and none of getting anything close to Sturgis. Now, the problem with being outside of Sturgis is night riding. Very dangerous, open ranges, deer, moose, etc all over the place and they come out at night, buffalo too.
&nbsp\\;
You might contact the Chamber of Commerce in Sturgis and perhaps they can put you in touch with places in the area that rent. I have some friends going this year that found a 4 bedroom home that is being rented out. Mega bucks..but only 3 miles from Sturgis.
&nbsp\\;
Good luck.

Take a look at Tripadvisor and type in the city and dates of your choice.

Rapid City is still listing lots of availability during Rally Week.

I found a cabin in the Black Hills last year. The trick was that it was off the main highway about 3 mile, all on dirt/gravel. But they are there. Was a beautiful house that slept over 8. Just google black hills cabins or black hills vacation rentals.

Heck, go the week after the rally\\; lower rates, available accommodations, rally merchandise is half price or lower, the roads are empty, but the scenery is still the same.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; And fewer drunks on the road.
