I agree with Stro. I can tell a definite difference in throttle response and off the line reaction since I got my stage 1. I also am for some reason getting approximately 15% better fuel mileage than before the upgrade.

I just got the SEAC last week. \\; What a difference in performance. \\; I liked the stock, but the increased air flow makes a noticeable difference. \\; I am still running stock pipes and looking at SE II or V&\\;H ovals.

Done properly with a tuner like a PC or SERT you will gain about 10hp/8tq and a much cooler running motor.

If they run better then stock which they do. When they set the bike's up at the factory it would not cost HD any more money to produce a cooler running \\;more HP and better proforming bike. But then we would not be spending the extra $ for the up grades.

The bike runs fine stock, IMO, and the MoCo warranttees it that way (and you know they wouldn't make a bike that wold cost them money to keep on the road).
But I wonder if the nature of Stage I is about to change. The Nightrider O2 IEDs & XiEDs do almost everything "Stage I" (if not everything) does for a fraction of the cost and time involved.
