Buy a seat that looks like you want her to ride with you, AND be comfortable would be a great start.
Not being a smart azz, but if it looks like fun you'd have better luck.

I love my wife and just told her to get on, hang on and shut up. thats the way it is. She loves to ride now.
If she didn't? some other woman would! Fact of life man. Grow some ***** man.

My wife has been on my bike twice. after I made it a rigid, she pretty much told me never again (we rode less than a mile). I never have a problem getting the waitresses at my other job to ride with me tho...

My wife agreed to go for a ride on my birthday even though she is afraid and guess what, we crested a rise and there was an alligator in the road. I quickly decided to brake hard and just aim for the middle. He was curled in the road and I thought he might turn. He did. No crash, not even close, just like hitting a speed bump at about 25. I have lived and skied regularly on a lake in Florida for 22 years and have never seen an alligator in the wild before. I don't think she's going on any more rides.

Mine wont ride at all,,, I enjoy MY time and if needed there is always a darlin that wants to ride!!!
