I've only seen a couple, and they looked basically the same. Pretty much just changing the mounting bolts that go into your shocks. Not a real major job. Check out J&amp\\;\\\\\\;P or any of the other aftermarket outfits and you'll be set.
I never bothered lowering my 89, already bottoming out my pipes on tight rite turns.

I think the Deluxe has lowering kit already pre-installed&nbsp\\;by the factory. You could get the shocks for the Deluxe.&nbsp\\; I would actually want a highering kit.&nbsp\\; I scrap floor boards too often and would really like to have more grown clearance so I can really throw the bike around.

This is my wife's bike and she has problems getting her feet flat on the ground at stops. I think lowering it about an inch would solve the problem.

I have an 05 softail and I used harley's lowering kit. It lowers it one inch. Progressive makes one that lowers is 2 inches. One inch still gives you plenty of suspension with the lower seat height. 2 inches can be rough depending on how bad your roads are ( potholes, etc)

Some lowering kits you have to remove the shocks. I think all are adjustable.
The Progressive kit seems nice. I have a 2002 with a lowering kit and it bottoms out too easy. I am looking in to stiffing it up.
