I have an question related to oil. \\; Does anyone know where I can buy Mobile One 0W-40 for less than 6.50 a quart? \\; \\; Sorry about the threadjacking but I figure this thread was already off the tracks.

I never heard this one before but I will say this....oil does not deteriorate. It becomes dirty and needs filtered, amounts become less because of leaks and burning off. But it does not deteriorate. You could actually never change your oil again, as long as you maintained a new filter and kept it full. One example is the engine rooms of U.S. ships, the oil is never changed unless there is some part failure and the oil becomes contaminated. They change filters and add as needed and those engines have millions of hours on them.

Some expert. 20W-50. He calls it 20 weight oil. The W stands for winter not weight. Think Ill change my synthetic every 5,000 like I always do. My evo was at 45,000 and still running like new when I sold it, works for me.
