He asked a perfectly legitimate question and he deserved a perfectly intelligent answer. So his wife worries enough about him that she wants to make sure he is ok.... I can understand that. I call my wife after my hour long ride to work so that she knows I'm ok also. Maybe if your wife doesn't care about you, then you need the wife upgrade.

During the focus group sessions Globalstar conducted about SPOT, one of the positive comments was from a hunter who said he would use a SPOT to contact his wife when he got to his hunting camp. Even though his hunting camp was within cell phone range. His reasoning was, he could send a SPOT message that he was OK and not have to have the dreaded 30 minute conversation about how her day went.
