Just reading these posts and hearing the varied interpretations as to when it's ok to use your firearm or not is revealing in itself. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;No wonder crap like this happens, and no wonder that you're \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;10 times more likely to be killed by a gun in the States than \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;Canada, or 4 times more likely to die from an accidental shooting.
 \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;
You can have your "freedoms" and paranoid protections from the bogeyman, I'll take my chances up here where every wacko (and that includes potentially EVERYBODY) doesn't have a gun up their pantleg.  \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; \\;\\ \\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;

What a ridiculous, stupid *** stereotype. Stay home and \\;\\\\\\;let us kill each other in peace. You are Americas hat. America junior, America light. Oh yeah, and WE dominate you at the game YOU invented. Go Red Wings. Booo Ya. \\;\\\\\\;

I think it's time now. Time to invade Canada!!!!!! They've been getting a free ride for too long!
Good thing is that we can probably just send about 5 guys to get the job done.

wow. that is unbelievable!!! i would have to say that the women definately over reacted. just keeping the gun under her seat is an overreaction. i mean, are you that terrified to drive around without a gun? here in illinois, i believe that guns have to be kept out of your reach if you have one in your car.

oh, yea, its the big bad guns that need to be kept away from the people. You don't get it. The 2nd isnt there \\;for personal protection or hunting, its the last line of defense for the PEOPLE against the government. Checks-Balances. Your a sheep. Get a clue.

My father was always fond of telling me "He was right, dead right, as he sped along, but he was just as dead as though he had been wrong." Whether she was right or wrong to shoot him he was obviously wrong for getting off the bike. The evidence of that is he got shot.

RE: Watch your temper!
BUMP! I am very interested in what happens with this case... What will be the consiquences of their actions? Was he right but dead right? Did he open the door? Did they kick him while he 's down? How did it start? Was she justified in pulling the trigger? I carry but not as often as I used too because of a company car... Could she have driven off around him? Is he still alive? Some body is going to get 3 squares and a cot, but whom?

The kicking when he was down argues that the woman is unstable at best. Allowing her KID to participate? WAY over the top...Especially if she's claiming she was protecting her child!

OMG - that's terrible. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; I am so glad we have banned firearms. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Still have a problem with knife crime though! \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; I hope he lives and she get what's coming and rightfully deserves.

LOL
 \\;
we're lagging behind you guys a few years on banning firearms, but when we do ban them, i am sure the idiots that ban them over here will have to deal with the same ********* wielding whatever is next, like the idiots that banned firearms in your country are dealing with.
 \\;
and when they ban knives in your country, baseball will follow next.

Read this article from MSNBC

 \\;\\\\\\;
from the article\\\\\\;
 \\;\\\\\\;
"The woman said, 'No you don't,' and opened up the door,
tried to hit him with the door and she shot him," she said.
"Point blank." The witness said she didn't believe Parrish was justified.
"I don't think she had the right to shoot him because he wasn't,
he didn't do anything wrong," she said.
"He just got off his bike and walked back there.
He wasn't nasty with her or anything else."
The witness also said she saw Parrish's 15-year-old son
exit the SUV and begin kicking and taunting Mosier after
the shooting. Another witness on the report said he saw Parrish join in, too. "
I'm guessing the cops are afraid to arrest this woman
stay tuned, this isn't over by a long shot. (pun intended)

This was on the news in Indy and all that I can add is that \\;I think he was riding a blue sportster. There never is enough information to know what really happened and there are alot of different ways that could have played out. This is big time on the news so it will get attention.
