I thought this was an interesting article regarding the Oakland Police Department installing loud aftermarket pipes onto their fleet of Harley-Davidsons.

Alot of police Depts. here in Michigan have been upgrading to louder pipes. More power too em'. Stupid laws anyway that are not enforced and shouldn't be. There was one cop in the SE part of the state that was writing for loud pipes but I hear, and it's just a rumor, that some of the other cops, (who I'm told are riders), had a chat with him and he doesn't do it anymore. I say it's OK as long as they aren't enforcing it. As far as I'm concerned the Feds shouldn't be able to come in and dictate such petty stuff to the local government anyway. &nbsp\\;
