Default Loud Pipe Fines

I just put my new pipes on my bike and they are pretty loud.&nbsp\\; I was wondering if anyone knows what the ticket is for too loud of pipes? I'm sure it veries from state to state. I am in Michigan. Just wondering if any of you had any experience with this?

Thanks,
Greg

If you're so worried about it, you should have found out ahead of time. Otherwise be just a little bit responsible about things and you'll probably be fine.

We want to know the answer to this question. Next time you see an officer, rev your bike real hard and dump the clutch. Let us&nbsp\\; know how you make out and how much it cost.

In Ct. first time it's $279, 2nd time you take it to DMV to be inspected + fine and could revoke reg. if they want to

it depends on the color of your bike, expect a high priced ticket if your bike is black, because black bikes are bad *** bikes

Exactly...I've flagrantly violated Denver's loud pipe law on several occasions...one of those occasions I was actually sitting beside a Denver LEO at a downtown stoplight with my V&amp\\;H Straights in plain view and chuggin away...I was a little nervous that time but to this date I have received NO tickets for my pipes.

In one of my bike magizines this past month was an ad for an add on device you can add to your pipes to adjust the sound. You can adjust the device for loud or low. Sorry the magizene&nbsp\\; is gone but one should be able to find it on the web
