I have had to use Roadside Assistance on 2 occasions.

Both times rapid response and no additional charges.

A couple of friends needed them last year on the Sturgis run. Three calls, no problems, rapid response and no additional charges.

I've never used the roadside assistance but I've called&nbsp\\;HOG&nbsp\\;3 times in the past 2 months trying to upgrade my package.&nbsp\\; They keep telling me they'll send me the paperwork but I haven't gotten anything from them.&nbsp\\; I'm switching to AAA+.

Guess I was just lucky. I went down on some 'black ice' on a back road in Oregon on New Years day. Called them and they couldn't have been nicer. Took a while to get a truck but it was a major holiday. They called me back a couple of times to keep me informed. Guy showed up and was great and had a motorcycle dolly which loaded onto his truck. I have AAA but wasn't aware of the 'plus' coverage. Since I first tried to post this I’ve updated to the ‘plus’ coverage since they're 'everywhere'. Can't count on being lucky twice in a row.

Paperwork is on the HOG website. Filled it out. Sent it in with my $20. Just got the upgraded tow card back in the mail. Pretty slick.

Hope I never need it.

More than likely, it was a matter of no one had a truck available for what they wanted to pay.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
The above quote is the problem.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I had AMA motow and had the same issue. When&nbsp\\;the flatbed truck finally came I discussed why it took so long and the driver said that HOG and Motow don't want to pay. He used to work for HOG and quit.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I now have AAA RV PLUS and have used it 3 times and never had an issue or long wait. The guys that came to pick up the bike were knowledgable about loading and securing bikes.

I've never heard a bad thing about HOG till this posting. Several friends had good expieriences with HOG.&nbsp\\;Sounds like&nbsp\\;they may only be good during normal business hours. Since my free membership is coming to an end I may check out AAA.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

When my HOG membership exipires, I'm moving to AAA. I've heard' just one too many horror stories about the quality of HOG's roadside assistance plan.
