&nbsp\\;Isn't when a starter is engaged,&nbsp\\;it's pinion gear is ENGAGED in the ring gear on the clutch basket spinning the engine trying to start it. I'm also very confused. There are a lot of people out there who don't give a damn how they treat other's property. Just watch how these young kids fling cars doors open into the one next and the parents don't even try to correct them, therein lies the problem, one's up bringing.

 

i was in san diego and i parked my bike at the parking lot for this lake, i dont recall the name, but there was a huge navy ship there, midway or something... and there were a million asian tourists around the place, and the moment i left the bike 3 of them ganged up on it, 2 sat on it and the other was taking pictures...


i CAME BACK TO THE BIKE and they did not even blink!!! they grabbed me and tried to get me in the pictures............... and they saw me park the bike, obviously it was mine...

if they werent 80, i would have hurt someone....

 

An alarm will certainly keep the "sit on the motorcycle" idiots off of it.&nbsp\\; A pager will tell ya when to come running to see which way the truck is going with your bike.&nbsp\\; A bike cover with a Honda logo will keep it safe.

with the ignition locked it would not have started.

I am pretty sure the red mist would descend if I came back and found some numpty messing with / or even sitting on my bike.&nbsp\\; I wouldn't&nbsp\\;be accountable for my words or actions.
