I'm getting ready to order me a RKC through AAFES.&nbsp\\; The only prob is they say the only one they have left in my color is a CA emissions bike.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
My questions to you guys are what am I "losing" over a standard bike and what will that change when it comes to modding??&nbsp\\; (pipes/aircleaner/fuel)

You gain Cat converters

 

I think the only difference is the Ca emissions has a charcoal canister. The canister is ugly but simple to remove. They also charged me $400.00 more for the Ca. emissions.

 

Well both of them got it half right, Cat. converters in the slip ons and charcoal canister to trap any&nbsp\\;gas vapors from the fuel tank.

 

I bought mine through AAFES with CA emissions. I changed my pipes and added a PCIII. No problems here. Hell I didnt even know that I had CA emissions until the other day when I was looking at my purchase order again after 1 yr. Where are you out of loseranacummins?

 

You don't want any of those Calif emissions even if they are free. They are pretty thick, somewhat black and they stink. Some call it smog. Charging you $400 for smog with a fancy name is a ripoff.
