Front Metzler cupping-why?

I have about 7k on a set of Metzlers....no cupping issues at all...I run 40 in the F. and 42 in the R. I would never take the advice of using the R brake more than the F...that is easily setting up for a major accident... Yes in a slow turn you don't need the F brake...but in the straights...you're gonna lock that R up or not stop in time...my 2c... possibly an issue with the tire itself???
