Have to agree with this. I had a similar experience with trading my 06 Deluxe to a SG. Got boned pretty good, well, certainly lost a lot more than I had expected. But, been riding the new SG since Dec and love every second of it. The money is gone, but I have what I want. I knew I could never make the Deluxe the bike I wanted it to be. Just came back from a 6 hour ride with and my a$$ barely even noticed it!

I recently had every reason not to sell my 1963 rigid pan and 1996 Buell S2t.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;Took a beating on the Buell. When it was all said and done I have no regrets.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Got the bike I want. Used 1998 Ultra w/ TLE sidecar.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I got the bike I am getting more enjoyment out of. The bike you have now looks pretty cool.

 

Have you considered throwing some bags on your bike and adding more comfortable seat?&nbsp\\; Hopefully you can work a deal when the 2009's come out.&nbsp\\; Best of luck and hang in there.
