If you're coming down near the end of June or in July and swing by East Texas I'll give you a riding tour of the only natural lake in Texas - Caddo Lake. \\;\\\\\\; Bring a helmet as we'll be going into Louisiana.
Show you the antebellum houses in my town - Jefferson.
Take you to Don Henley's hometown of Linden aka Music City Texas.
Travel over the ancient remains of some mountains and whizz right by the Chicken Man's mansion - Bo Pilgrim of Pilgrim's Pride.
Force you to eat a steak at 5D Cattle Company in Avinger - best li'l steakhouse in anybody's backwoods.
Then aim you in whatever direction you want.

We stayed in Beavers Bend Park in SE Oklahoma for three days back in April. \\; On one of those days we did in fact take short ride down to Texas. \\; We went by the Lake of the Pines and ended up in Jefferson. \\; There was a hot rod show going on all over town and we ate at a bar called Auntie Skinners. \\; Nice bar, town and car show.

We're ridden all over the states surrounding Oklahoma with the exception of Texas. \\; What are the best places to ride to and relax in Texas? \\; North Texas? Hill Country? East Texas? West Texas? South Texas? \\;

We own land in New Braunfels. It is a beautiful area with lots of green and lots of water. Some of the best riding in the "Hill Country" also.

Beavers Bend is the jewel of Oklahoma and a damn nice ride from Dallas area.I have made that ride many times and always loved that area.Good riding roads and biker friendly people.I went last month and the weather was perfect.All of East Texas makes for a pretty good ride too.We have them dry areas in Texas that makes it hard if you want a beer sometimes.90 something with 35-40 mile an hour winds today,so it`s a little bad for riding today.
