Texas is the only state that allows private ownership of exotic animals.
&nbsp\\;
Its not uncommon in the Hill Country to all of a sudden think your in Africa.

I grew up in Amarillo. Texas is a great state with lots to see and do. The Hill Country around Austin is beautiful. The coast is fun. There are landmarks, natural wonders, and historical markers throughout. Tons of great food, everything from seafood and down-home cooking to mexican and the best pit barbecue you've ever had. You really can't go wrong.

Yea, I'll be stopping by Strokers for sure. I've been there before and have spent a couple of afternoons BSing with those guys. A nicer bunch you couldn't want to meet.

If you're coming down near the end of June or in July and swing by East Texas I'll give you a riding tour of the only natural lake in Texas - Caddo Lake.&nbsp\\; Bring a helmet as we'll be going into Louisiana.
Show you the antebellum houses in my town - Jefferson.
Take you to Don Henley's hometown of Linden aka Music City Texas.
Travel over the ancient remains of some mountains and whizz right by the Chicken Man's mansion - Bo Pilgrim of Pilgrim's Pride.
Force you to eat a steak at 5D Cattle Company in Avinger - best li'l steakhouse in anybody's backwoods.
Then aim you in whatever direction you want.
