We're ridden all over the states surrounding Oklahoma with the exception of Texas. What are the best places to ride to and relax in Texas? North Texas? Hill Country? East Texas? West Texas? South Texas?

<\\;P>\\;Don’t forget to stop at Lukenbach and see Waylon, Willie and the&\\;nbsp\\; boys.&\\;nbsp\\;&\\;nbsp\\;&\\;nbsp\\;&am p\\;nbsp\\;I never biked in Texas but spent a week there last July.&\\;nbsp\\; Right friendly place, even with the rifles showing in the back windows of the pickups.&\\;nbsp\\;&\\;nbsp\\; Come think of it,&\\;nbsp\\; maybe that’s WHY it’s a friendly place.<\\;BR>\\;<\\;BR>\\;Coming from little ol NJ,&\\;nbsp\\; I was of course amazed at the size of Texas.&\\;nbsp\\; You can see forever in any direction and the folks there consider a 2 hr drive to be just around the corner.&\\;nbsp\\; Why they even have trees there,&\\;nbsp\\;&\\;nbsp\\; I thought it was all sand and tumbleweeds.<\\;BR>\\;<\\;BR>\\;Stayed in the Dallas area but took a two day trip down to San Antonio with stops at Fredericksburg (settled by germans), LBJ ranch, and of course Lukenbach.&\\;nbsp\\;(no waylon) &\\;nbsp\\;Good clean roads and good eats everywhere we went. <\\;/P>\\;

I'm heading to Texas sometime around the 21st or there about. Gonna ride to Grand Prairie to my sons house. Then, he and I are going to ride on down to San Antonio for a few days.
Looking forward to the trip.

If you’re ridin’ thru Dallas on a weekend you gotta stop off at Strokers. Just East of 35 on Harry Hines. You won’t regret it!

Being from the Austin area I'm partial to the Hill country, tons of great riding. I hadn't seen this website before http://www.motorcycleroads.us/states/tx.html \\;but it shows some \\;good riding all over the state. (Thanks to the guys who posted it above).
