Stan Deshong's Antique Motorcycle Museum
If anyone is looking for somplace fun to make a stop while in the Southern Oregon area take note.
Stan is an old friend of a long time family friend. Very nice guy with stories for weeks. You have to talk kind of loud though. Years of racing w/o earplugs will make anoyone a little hard of hearing. If you've seen the World's Fastest Indian, he might remind you of the guy Anthony Hopkins portrays.
He has some really great old bikes. Among the HD's and Indians is a Crocker or two plus some other really rare stuff ( I think he still has a Brough Superior). Last time I was there he had around 30 bikes or so.
A great stop for anyone travelling near the southern Oregon coast area. The museum is located on Hwy 101 in Port Orford, Oregon.

It is a DVD documentary about the actor Ewan McGregor and a friend of his riding from London to New York City going east. They basically ferried over the English Channel and rode to the farthest town in eastern Siberia. Then flew their bikes to Anchroage Alaska and rode the rest of the way. 20,000 miles over the course of 16 weeks. Really well done and very entertaining. They were on BMW GS1100's.
