Anyone take a trip through Oregon, I have only been there in a car, they have to fill your car are we allowed to fill our bikes. I don't want a kid filling my bike and dinging the tank along with the gas poured over the paint. Just wondering

I drove though oregon last summer on my way to Idaho.
They started the pump and let me pump the gas .The girl told me they let bikes and classic cars pump ther own gas ,but they have to turn the pump on and off.

+1. I've never had one fail to give me a rag or windshield towel, too.

Law in Oregon - no self service but they look the other way to avoid liability for damaging bikes and classics. They do start the pump as said.

Only filled up there once and yes, they hand you the pump. But when it’s raining like all get out, it’s kind of nice to have them fill it up for ya. Be advised they don’t regulate their fuel. Haven’t had issues with gas but have with Diesel.

I live in Eugene OR. Everybody is right 99% of the attendants will start the pump and hand it to you with a towell. Most are very respectfull of you and your property. Use major brands only, avoid discount and no name gas stations. Have heard of lots of problems with the cheap (what) gasses. If you need a contact in OR. in case of problems or just need info I'd be happy to give you my numbers... Lots of great riding up here....................Doug

I ride to Oregon a couple times a year and have found most attendents are afraid to fill your tank if your on a bike. The last time I was down there an attendant said hang on a second and I will get a rag so when you pull the nozzle out you wont get any drips on your tank.I let him fill the tank and he treated it like it was his high dollar custom.

I live in Oregon and I've always filled my own tank on my bike.
