FWIW..........wife has an 06 Street Bob. She got it new (first one out of our local dealership). She is 5' 4" and it fits her perfectly. the biggest change she made is putting a sundowner seat on (actually made her sit higher). Still fits her fine, and she can flat foot the bike with the proper boots on. She went from an old iron head Sporty to the Bob. The bike is so well balanced she thought it was lighter than the Sportster! It's about 200# heavier. Yours might want to take a sit down on the Street Bob.

 

Have you thought about trying a Rocker? Top of the seat is about a 24" off the ground and bike handles great.
